Other advisers told me I couldn't re-mortgage with another high street lender due to my poor credit rating. PFS took the time and trouble to recommend a rate that saved me money and made my life so much easier.

Mr M - Aberdeen

I am so pleased with my new conservatory... PFS were marvellous at arranging the finance and it was so quick, I couldn't believe it!

Mrs Field - Southampton

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: We have been with the same lender for years. Why should we change ?

It is possible that you could save money by reviewing your mortgage lender periodically. After collecting full details about your circumstances and objectives, we will advise you whether it is beneficial for you to consider another lender. With your permission, we will also contact you periodically to offer you a review.

Q: I have heard that solicitors are involved with a remortgage. Can you explain a bit more about the legal process ?

Solicitors will need to be involved in the remortgage process and you have the option to choose your own solicitor. With your consent, we are happy to liaise between you and the solicitors to ensure all requirements are met with the least possible inconvenience to you. Any legal costs will be clearly defined to you at the start of the process. For some re-mortgages, the costs are paid for by the lender.

Q: Can I borrow extra money and for what purpose ?

If you have sufficient equity in your property, you may be able to borrow money to repay existing loans and credit cards to possibly save money with a potentially lower interest rate. You may also be able to borrow money, subject to status, for most purposes. For instance; to buy a car, for a dream holiday or to buy a second home in the sun. We will fully explain any consequences of adding extra money to your mortgage and we will contact you every year, providing you consent to this, to check you have the best mortgage to suit your individual circumstances.
